If you haven't already seen the new series on ITV 1 at 4pm on weekdays, try to catch it if you can this week. It's rumoured that The Pudding Club will be featured on Friday 7th September! Lynda travels around the country in her VW campervan called Battenburg, Batty for short! Yesterday's episode captured some unusual bits about Hampshire - a lovely county! We were delighted to welcome Lynda Bellingham - one of the Loose Women panellists - to The Pudding Club recently. Lynda is busy with a new series for ITV - Tasty Travels with Lynda , The Pudding Club will be featured as one of the challenges Lynda meets! Watch out for more broadcast information later in the summer.
The Pudding Club is delighted to announce that the new recipe book - Great British Puddings will be available to buy very soon! The book contains 140 recipes with some delicious images of puddings, they look good enough to eat!
The recipes are a great collection, some old, some new, tried, tested and tempting! The book will be available on line in late summer.
The Bone Cancer Research Trust (BCRT) held a meeting of The Pudding Club on Sunday 22nd April to help raise funds for the charity. The meeting was held very succesfully for 50 guests who all tucked in willingly for this very good cause. A team of four supporters are cycling from London to Paris in June on a fund raising mission, this event was a great opportunity for them to stock up on the carbs! It's a long way to Paris on a bike! The event raised about £1500 for the charity, well done!
2010 has been a very busy year with celebrations at Three Ways House - Home of The Pudding Club. There was a fantastic turnout for the anniversary weekend in November when much fun & pudding was had by all! As a special feature 8 puddings were on offer with 5 sauces to represent '85, the year this delicious club was formed!
Many guests had been to a Pudding Club meeting before, but Fi & Nathan Tatchell-White's record is hard to beat, 25 pudding clubs in 2 years, just over 200 puddings & 25 pints of custard each! They walked 25 miles from their home to enjoy the puddings on one occasion! That's loyalty for you!
On their 13th visit, Lynne & Tony Shingler said they enjoyed the experience as much as the first one!
Nigel & Ann have been 7 times & hope to attend many more.
Amongst the crowd of pudding lovers were a number of first timers, they all promised to come back for more.
The special meetings were made even more special with Warwick's Town Crier announcing the puddings into the room & fireworks finished off the meetings with a sparkle. A brilliant time was had by all, looking forward to the next 25 years!
