Why not treat yourself to a mouth-watering,
lip-licking weekend of chocolate at the Home of the
Pudding Club! £99 per person based on two sharing double/twin standard room. Arrive during the afternoon - enjoy a steaming cup of Hot Chocolate by the fire. Dinner will be a very chocolatey affair. Chocolate is featured in every course, but other dishes are available if your stamina is waning! Retire to the lounge for coffee and homemade chocolate truffles. On Sunday morning, breakfast will be served from 8.00 am to 9.30 am and includes delights like Pain au Chocolate and Chocolate spread. Afterwards we start on the Chocolate Treasure Hunt followed by chocolate tasting and demonstration. How many chocolate bars can you win? Highly recommended by one of our Lunch Club members, David Howe's talk is entitled 'Laughter: The Best Medicine?' an examination of who and what may make us laugh. David lives locally and has spoken to some three hundred groups all over the country. His career includes teaching, school inspector, university lecturer and writer. This talk promises to be light-hearted and entertaining, but informative. £14 per person. Come and enjoy! Advance reservations are essential.
